Challenges faced by specific client -
The client was entering the market and wanted to launch the product immediately on Pan India Basis. However, Client did not have the legal registrations in place to transact business, and did not have a system which would provide visibility & accuracy of information. The requirement was to immediately launch the product to preempt the competition.

Solutions provided / Suggested by DIESL -
The client was asked to issue the product to DIESL on consignment basis. DIESL accepted the goods at one central location and uploaded the quantities in its system. The system was configured to identify the stocks separately for the client. Subsequently, on advise of client, products are distributed (stock transferred) to various DIESL locations from where sale would be made to the end customer. Post the transfer, once the distributor (identified by the client) places the order and makes upfront payment, DIESL prepares an invoice and dispatches the goods to the consumer. And at regular intervals, the payments collected are transferred to the Client.

Final Outcome -
Client was able launch on schedule and was able to focus on the core aspects of marketing and sales, thereby garnering good market share.
