Challenges faced by specific client -
The Client focuses on four core businesses: Oral Care, Personal Care, Home Care and Pet Nutrition, and sells its products in over 200 countries and territories worldwide. The client faced problems in Warehouse Management, where SAP v/s physical stock was not matching and there were huge product mismatches. Stock management in the warehouse was very poor and it was leading to customer dissatisfaction. The productivity level in the warehouse was very low resulting in high warehouse cost. Clients Distribution Management was also suffering. The cost per kg for delivery from Kolkata to West Bengal was very high. The lead time for delivery to the Kolkata distributor was 24-48hrs against expectation of same day delivery, and the quality of delivery to the distributor was a major cause of concern, as there were high transit damages.

Warehouse & Distribution Management:
Operating at consistent peaks of 500 orders a day, we have established service levels to meet customer requirements. DIESL maintained 100% Inventory Accuracy at all times.
For faster turn around, we introduced milk runs to ensure same day delivery. Also, a ‘Dedicated Fleet’ was arranged for the client to ensure timely & quality delivery. In addition to the above, at the warehouses, we execute Point-Of-Purchase (POP) packaging, Stickers &Re Packaging.
